Basically hearthfire but with a castle rather than a house i guess and regular upkeep costs. So my castle that costs 15k/month would give me a great reason to keep exploring.Īlso the design aspect.do I want this room or that room.etc. Usually in my games when Im sitting on 50k gold, even pretty nice stuff I just leave lying around - there is no point. I love the idea of upkeep costs.as incentive to continue dragging loot back and selling it. The more hirelings, the more you pay monthly, etc. the bigger, the more you pay in taxes to the Jarl.
to be allowed to build a castle in one of the holds. I am curious if there is a mod (or something that comes close to it) that you can actually construct your own castle? Ideally it would be like a sim city type mod. Im very into the medieval aspect of skyrim.
